In this episode, I speak with Ketty Lie, co-founder of Erudifi, a student loan fintech that allows students to pay their tuition in installments to their schools. Ketty talks about moving back and forth between Southeast Asia and the U.S., her work in economic development and social impact, and her conviction that an educated workforce is critical for an economy to succeed.
Erudifi is a student loan provider in Indonesia and the Philippines. They work directly with universities and other educational institutions to allow their students affordable access to student loans. Erudifi raised a $5M series A led by Monk's Hill and Qualgro in February of 2021 and was approved by Indonesian financial regulator OJK for a P2P lending license in August of 2021.
